About BetterExaminations
BetterExaminations is a comprehensive exam management and e-assessment platform that enables institutions to securely create, review, schedule, deliver, and proctor both traditional and online assessments—all from a single cloud-based system.
BetterExaminations x Schoolyear
By combining BetterExaminations with Schoolyear’s Safe Exam Workspace, institutions can confidently deliver STEM and competency-based exams—using real applications such as Excel, SPSS, VScode + Python, R, or MATLAB—on both managed devices and BYOD setups. Students can securely download, complete, and submit their exam files, which are directly integrated into BetterExaminations for grading.
Schoolyear ensures that during the exam, students cannot access the internet, local files, or other applications. This makes it possible to offer authentic, application-based assessments in a controlled digital environment, without compromising security or flexibility.
